Awesome Crafts done by Crafts By SarahD

Sarah brings us some great inspiration from Crafts By SarahD.  She has always loved crafting.  She use to do a lot of scrapbooking work but has turned towards adhesive vinyl work lately.   Sarah loves to decorate items and bring a smile to someone's face.    I think that is one of the biggest things of being a crafter, when you finish a job for someone, whether in business or for fun, when that person smiles when they see your work, you can't help but feel proud.   I think anyone that receive's Sarah's work would be smiling!

These Charger plates are a great crafting idea that are great during the Holidays.   They make great decoration and wonderful gifts.

Love her use of a prism vinyl which gives these blocks even more dimension!

Love this shirt!!!!

The Vino2Go cups have opened up a new avenue for vinyl enthusiasts to decorate on and come up with all new sayings.

Designs by ACES Crafting Station

Time to Feature another Member of the Crazy Craft Buys group on Facebook.

Kathy Bessey of ACES Crafting Station from Oregon

Ferris Wheel made by Kathy.

Vinyl on canvas - This season is getting close!

Lighted glass block with Vinyl

Another outstanding Ferris Wheel by Kathy.   This lady has some amazing talent!

Kathy started crafting about 10 years ago.  She wanted to make some her kids a quilt.  She had never touched a sewing machine, let alone make a quilt.  She started making simple quilts for family and friends, then she discovered the Green Bug Cutting Machine.  That led her into another realm of crafting.  Shortly after, she purchased an 18 inch Black Cat Cougar cutting machine.   Paper is her first love and will probably always hold a special place for her, but her newest addiction is Heat Transfer Vinyl, Adhesive Vinyl and Rhinestones.   But look at those Ferris Wheels out of paper and cardstock - WOW!

Her crafting started as fun for her but quickly grew into a business as it has done for a lot of us.  Kathy is the owner of ACES Crafting Station.  Kathy enjoys learning new crafts and making new friends.   Stop by her ACES Crafting Station Facebook Page and give her a like and say hi!

Halloween Shirts by JL Carter Creations

We are starting this blog off at a great time of year.  Fall and Halloween time, that means tons of inspirations will be posted here and the Facebook Group and hopefully the yahoo group as well.

Our very first feature is going to show case some of one of our active member's items she made using Heat Transfer Vinyl

Lisa Carter did a fabulous job making these shirts!

Lisa started sewing when she was 9 years old.   When she turned 21, she started digitizing for an embroidery company.  She also did design work in Cincinnati.    She started using an electronic cutter about a year ago and of course got hooked on the heat transfer vinyl and vinyl.  Vinyl has become her favorite medium to work with.  After years of design work, she loves the fact that when she makes a design on the computer, she already knows how the finished product will look when working with vinyl.   She just made the move to selling her products on Etsy early in the year.

If you want to see more of Lisa's great designs, stop by her Etsy shop JL Carter Creations and browse around.  https://www.etsy.com/shop/JLCarterCreations

Rules for Crazy Craft Buys

Crazy Craft Buys is a group that was started on Facebook by 2 longtime crafters.  Lisa and Sandy - We started crafting....well too many years ago to say as we'd have to admit our ages.  We do crafts for fun, we do crafts with kids, its our escape, but we've also done crafts as a business, both full time and part time and hobby.  So we know what crafters need.  One thing, is a good buy.   We got frustrated that we couldn't afford the minimums on large wholesale accounts.   We started inviting a few friends to help in those initial opening buys, then started working our way up.   Then we decided to see if the rest of the crafting world wanted to participate.   So 2 groups were born on Facebook - Crazy Craft Buys and Crafting Yard Sale.    CCB - Crazy Craft Buys is where we organize our buys and advertise them.   We will do that here as well.  Crafting Yard Sale is a group where you can sell your crafts, destash your supplies and more.

Rules to all buys:  Every buy is different, but over all there are some rules that we ask that you follow.

1.  Each buy will have information and it's own "rules" please read the buy before placing your order.

2.  All buys are on the website or through storenvy now.  This way you can place your order and pay at that time.  We found using the spreadsheet way took up WAY to much time.

3.  If you have placed an order but chose not to pay, your order is subject to being canceled when the buy is over.

4.  Most buys will have a projected end date - these are NOT set in stone, the host may have something personal come up, the manufacturer or supplier may run out, and many other unforseen things may happen.

5.  Please inspect your shipments when they arrive.  Most of the manufacturers are willing to take care of broken merchandise, however, with most this is 7 to 10 days so our rule is 7 days.

6. Most of all, please remember we are human and are not making money doing this. There are times we are working on our own business or spending time with family and may not answer as quickly as you would think. So thank you for your participation, cooperation, patience and kindness.

7.  We are not responsible for any outcome of any private transactions that result from this group.

8.  If two people on the board decide to split a case of something in a current buy, they will take care of the logistics among themselves.  The host will not be responsible for that.   Only one payment and one address will be provided to the host, how you take care of splitting after that is your responsibility.

9.  SHIPPING:   On the cup buys, our supplier typically ships within 2 or 3 days after we submit orders.  We submit orders every few days.  However, they DO NOT have to ship anything until after the buy is over.  Most buys are this way.  Please take the time to read the buy information.  We have the information posted on the website and/or the pinned post.  Lisa and I have considered stopping the buys as its time consuming.  We have tons of questions from people that are asking questions on the buys.

We honestly do not want to be rude, we want to have fun.   But when you have 30 private emails/messages each day, it eats up a lot of time.
On any blog post you can search for posts.   Search Rules and you will be able to find this post.

Welcome to Crazy Craft Buys Blog site.   We have a website, however its been hard to keep up with it as everything has to be done from one computer. We are trying out a blog as we can update from anywhere and both owners can update it.  In emergencies, we can give someone else access to update as well.   So....off to start working on a blog!

Joining the Facebook group, the yahoo group or follow here.
We promise to try to keep all 3 avenues up to date.
Facebook Group: We have the Facebook group, it is set to secret - it helps our members posts be private where it doesn't show up on their "feed" to where possible customers may see it.  The only way to get into that group is be invited by a Facebook Friend or by email.  You may send an email to Sandy at arabfilly@gmail.com  or to Lisa at lcanon@swbell.netWe also have the Facebook Group called Crafting Yard Sales - This is a group to help our members sell their crafts, craft supplies, destash items, etc.   You may join it at anytime.
